Singing Technique Essentials for Pros

2 DAY INTENSIVE FOR PROFESSIONAL AND ASPIRING PROFESSIONAL SINGERS

November 9th and 10th, 2024
3.00-5.00PM

Workshop Objectives

THIS CLASS IS GREAT FOR SINGERS OF ALL STYLES.

This 2 day intensive aims to target the biggest concerns that intermediate to advanced singers bring up frequently but FAIL to find effective solutions for:

✅ Building vocal endurance to sing without straining for a long time.

✅ Singing with an open throat across their entire range.

✅ Learning to manage the breath effectively to maximise overall vocal freedom.

Hi, I'm Abhilasha!

I'm a vocal coach and I specialise in training professional and aspiring professionals to meet their highest singing potential.

WHY THIS METHOD SIMPLY WORKS:

The voice is nothing but a result of muscle interactions in our body. Read that again. A perspective that most singers often lack is that it is possible to make staggering singing progress by identifying and intentionally exercising the internal musculature that is involved in voice production, much like the gym. You don't need to drill hours and hours of scales. There is a better, safer and clearer way to grow your voice!

All muscles are capable of getting stronger and more efficient. This is the rationale behind voice work. Through my courses, I train my clients to transcend their biggest vocal limitations and find more fulfilling lives as singers.

Abhilasha Rudrabatla | Vocal Coach

CREATOR OF THE COMPLETE SINGER TOOLKIT

In the 2 Day Intensive, you will learn some pretty important stuff that singers SHOULD know..

 ESSENTIAL VOCAL ANATOMY

You must know exactly what parts of your body are involved in voice production, what parts are notorious for creating throat tension, where they are located, how it feels when the right parts are working vs when the wrong parts are working.

HOW TO IDENTIFY YOUR VOCAL BLOCKAGES

You must understand how to identify the unconscious habits that are hindering your freest voice- causing excess throat tension, restrictions in your range, poor tone, vocal fatigue etc.

HOW TO DEVELOP A SIMPLE, EFFECTIVE REPERTOIRE OF VOCAL EXERCISES

You will need a set of exercises to help you replace your old inefficient habits with better, more efficient ones. These exercises will strengthen, improve coordination and control and help you grow your voice.

Voice Education Changes Lives

DEVIKA is a professional singer who struggled with vocal fatigue after every single gig. Her major complaint was that she would get tired about 1 hour into singing. On an average, her gigs lasted 2-3 hours. With this situation, she was afraid to sign more gigs every week as she would risk permanent damage.

After working together, Devika is now able to perform her shows without strain and fatigue. She is thriving as a busy performer in Hyderabad and recently sang for blockbuster film, Satyabhama.

SAILAJA was forced to stop singing for months due to chronic jaw, neck and shoulder pain. Doctors insisted that she needed botox to relax her muscles. Instead she decided to take a different path. We identified the root cause of her singing discomfort and within a few weeks of regular restorative massage and vocal exercises, not only was she able to feel massive reduction in pain but was back to recording her songs once again!

"I am already feeling so much pain relief. These exercises are working like magic."

DEEPANSHI did not love her voice and believed that it was too weak and lacked body. She aspired to be a performer but was out of touch for years and had no information about how to rehabilitate her voice and rebuild confidence. Through this work, she went on to make massive gains with her range, breath support and added so much power to her voice.

Fast forward to today, she gained courage to put herself out there and work alongside some amazing artists as part of the Berklee College of Music Ensemble Program. She now aspires to write and release her own music!

And..

here is my own vocal transformation story.

I am excited to share with you the techniques that had helped me and now help my students with experiencing staggering vocal progress and in some cases incredible vocal transformations.
